As the world moves steadily toward climate tippingpoints, Africa stands at the crossroads of environmental vulnerability andsocio-economic opportunity. The upcoming African Climate Summit, scheduled for September 8th – 10th, 2025 in Addis Ababa, promises to bea critical milestone in addressing climate related challenges for Africa. As a follow up to the inaugural summit held in Nairobi in 2023, this gathering is anticipated to reset the efforts for Africa's climate ambitions.
